Here are today's pictures

The frame is all drilled and clecoed. Still needs to be updrilled, etc., before riveting and then I can start the skin.

As usual lately I spent a good hour making more tools.

All the pieces I made for the spars came together real nice today.

Tomorrow, I will attach the ribs and start work on skinning them I hope. We will see how far I get.

...and I have the pictures to prove it.

The link above has 8 pages and 30 large images.

A couple of small assemblies are done and I will be starting on the assembly of the stabilizer tomorrow.

...but no pictures yet. I've taken them, just too busy to post them.

I started last Thursday and have made all the pieces I had to fabricate for the Horz Stab. I had one problem when I mismeasured. A pair of spar channels were too short!

I rumaged around through all my stock and scrap and had to look up all the pieces that I still had to make from the same material. Luckily I have enough to redo them and did. It was a couple hours to figure out what to do and then remake them.

After drilling hinge halves for the first time on the flaps, I had decided to make a jig to make drilling easier. I didn't get it made for the rudder hinge, but I did make one today and used it to drill the elevator hinge halves. Very nice. I have a picture of it when I get around to posting pictures.

Tomorrow should see the start of renewed production. Yeah!

I have moved and mounted to various spots the drill press, a new vice and the scotch brite wheel. Bunches of minor rearranging and storing.

I replaced two light fixture ballasts. The cheapies didn' last six months.

While not building, I have been flying alot. It will be nice to have my own plane!!!

I've also changed the blog to just a white background. The now old version of IE that Microsoft let get moldy couldn't figure out how to display the old format. Since that's what most people are still stuck with, I thought I would help you poor folks out.
